Zombie Walk Update

2/6/10 At 4:50pm, my hubby Jimmy and I arrived at NUCLEUS to get my gruesome jaw-dropping make up done by Christine.  Prostatic, teeth, blood, pale grey color face, and of course the wedding dress.  This Zombie Bride attracted tons of public viewers from passer-bys in cars, shops, restaurants, and pedestrians.  An intriguing stared by others, as I led a mass of eighty other zombies plowing through Main Street in Alhambra, California.  After looking for brains to eat, we ran protested outside of NUCLEUS art gallery to let us through the door.  Here is the video:Lovestruck Zombies Invade Gallery Nucleus

People in the streets were simply scared and unaware what was happening when they first saw a gang of zombies moaning with blood dripping and dragging our dead bodies.  Restaurant patrons had a good laugh as we passed by like a television screen through the glass windows.

Two floors of unique zombie art pieces filled the white walls while Trip Hop and Electronic music filled the room.  Artists and people from all around the Los Angeles County traveled to experience the thrill of zombies and art.  Furthermore, tons of strangers request to take photos of me including Chris Lane, the artist of the main exhibit artwork at the gallery.  Also check out Maxx Lee's blog of this event.

Through the Red Door, 3rd day of film shooting

1/27/10 My alarm chimed at 6:00am and I rushed out the door by 7:05 to drive down to Alhambra to pick up some Vietnamese sandwiches for a cast and crew of 18 people for lunch.  I'm not sure if they like Vietnamese/French sandwiches.  I finally hopped onto the 10 freeway to pick up Sunni (my cousin, who helped as a P.A.) as we headed towards Ontario where we would shoot today's 3 pages of dialogue at Vince's Spaghetti.

We fell a bit behind schedule, but the owner Frankie was cool enough to let us extend our shooting time at the restaurant.  The actor's performance was great and the crew worked as swift as possible.  We were able to squeeze an extra scene at the restaurant's restroom towards the end of the day.  Originally, we had to relocate the cast and crew to another facility with a restroom due to time restraint at the restaurant.

We'll resume shooting this Sat and Sun.
